2015 will be the last year for Berwick’s George Curry

Berwick Bullodgs footballThe Citizens’ Voice reports that America’s fifth winningest high school football coach will see his career at Berwick High School in northeastern Pennsylvania come to an end at the end of the 2015 season.  The newspaper reports that George Curry has tendered his resignation on the heels of an investigation by school district officials into alleged student-athlete transfer violations into his football program.

Curry has a lifetime record of 446-99-5.

USA Today crowned the Bulldogs national champions following the 1983, 1992 and 1995 seasons.
