The 4th annual Addix All-Star High School Football Game will be played Friday night at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. The game will feature 95 high school football seniors from across western Michigan.

Team Stars will be coached by Jeff Dock, the head coach of Thornapple’s Kellogg High School. Team Stripes will be guided by West Ottawa head coach Ryan Oshnock.

The Addix All-Star Game began in 2016 with a vision of showcasing the top seniors in the area, while also giving back to an important cause. The game has raised over $50,000 for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.

“I feel it’s accomplishing the task that we set out,” said Noel Dean, former head coach at Lowell High School, who is part of the management team at Addix Gear. “One was to bring awareness and raise whatever funds and proceeds for Gilda’s Club. There are people right now that pay attention to this game or go through this game and realize for the first time what Gilda’s Club is, and if that’s going to help that family go through their processes in a much more positive way or healthier way, then we’ve achieved the objective.

“Two, I’ve always thought that West Michigan deserved its recognition in football in a positive light. This sport is under siege from people that don’t have clarity on what the sport is about. They take bad information and turn it into whatever that is for people because it’s a clickbait or whatever that is, and I think when they get the chance to see these kids come together, football is one of those helmet-wearing, on-your-sideline kind of sports that you don’t really get to know the competition or the other coaches in a way that sometimes maybe isn’t as healthy, and the more we can drive the social interaction between coaches and kids, it will only make the sport better.”

This year’s rosters were chosen after 337 players were nominated. Below are the rosters for the game.
