After back-to-back Class A state championship appearances, Hillsboro/Central Valley moved up to AA this year. On Friday, the Burros beat Beulah 35-12 for their second title since 2017.

Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich, which beat Hillsboro/Central Valley last year, won its second straight Class A with a 42-14 win over Bishop Ryan in Dakota Bowl XXVII. The Cardinals have now won 25 straight.
