With four teams from Southern California’s Trinity League finishing 2018 in the High School Football America Top 100, the six team league was the toughest conference in the nation for the fourth straight year based upon our proprietary algorithm that creates our national rankings.

Mater Dei enters 2019 as our two-time defending “mythical” national champs and once again, the Monarchs are expected to challenge for the national title with plenty of talent returning.

St. John Bosco was the 2018 league champ, which popped the Braves to the No. 1 spot in the nation, but then in the CIF-Southern Section Division I finals, Mater Dei reversed SJB’s regular season win by beating them on the road to winning the CIF Open Division state title and the High School Football America national championship.

Both Mater Dei and Bosco will be playing high-profile out-of-state national schedules in 2019 that will put them in the mix for the top of the HSFA Preseason Top 100 that will be released early this summer. Actually, all six Trinity League teams will be playing high-quality schedules.

Below are the official schedules for the 2019 high school football season.
