Orem won its third straight Utah high school football state championship with 21-7 win over Timpview in the Class 5A state title game. The Tigers first two titles came in 4A.

After playing one of the toughest schedules in Utah, Orem, ranked No. 7 in our Utah Top 10, entered the postseason with a 5-4 record.

The 4A title goes to Sky View, which shutout Park City 35-0. It was the team’s sixth shutout of the season and the school’s first-ever high school football state championship.

For the first time since 1997, Morgan is a Utah high school football state champ. The Trojans beat Juab 8-0 for the state’s 3A title.

Beaver won its 12th overall state championship with a 45-6 win over Milford 45-6.
