This weekend’s state quarterfinals schedule is headlined by a 7A matchup between Chicago Catholic League/East Suburban Catholic Conference foes Brother Rice and Mount Carmel (Chicago).

Brother Rice is currently ranked No. 4 in the High School Football America Illinois Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. The Caravan is ranked No. 5 and is coming-off a 16-14 over 7A No. 1 Batavia last week.

During their CCL/ESCL Blue Division regular season matchup, Brother Rice won 43-36.
