2021 Indiana high school football playoff scores – Sectional Championships

The Indiana High School Athletic Association is handing-out sectional championship hardware this weekend.

Center Grove, the top team in the state and the No. 8 team in the High School Football America 100 national rankings, captured its 11th straight section title. The Trojans routed Columbus North 41-7.

Next-up in the state quarterfinals for the defending 6A champs will be Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference foe Lawrence Central.

Defending 5A champ Cathedral rolled to a regional trophy. The Fighting Irish, No. 2 in the state and No. 27 in the nation, beat Decatur Central 31-7.

Carmel’s championship run was ended by Brownsburg 31-7. Carmel entered the game ranked No. 79 nationally with its only loss coming against Center Grove. Brownsburg will now move-up from its No. 154 national ranking.

Next week, Brownsburg will play Ben Davis.

No. 110 Westfield received a scare in the Section 4 championship game. The Shamrocks needed a field goal with 3.7 seconds left to beat Hamilton Southeastern 24-22.

Below are all of the championship scores on the Road to Lucas Oil Stadium. The 49th IHSAA high school football tournament ends at the home of the Indianapolis Colts November 26-27.
