The top of the High School Football America West Region Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football, the NFL’s initiative to provide fun and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels, has a familiar look to it. Southern California arch-rivals Mater Dei and St. John Bosco are at the top of the regional rankings that cover the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the Braves and Monarchs had won three straight High School Football America national championships. And, both teams will be in the hunt for the national title in 2021.

Mater Dei is the No. 1 team in our 2021 Preseason 100, while St. John Bosco is ranked No. 7.
