Lake Stevens won its first-ever Washington high school football championship Saturday night. The Vikings beat Kennedy Catholic 24-22 to win the state’s 4A title.
Macray Flanders 22-yard field goal proved to be the game-winner with a little over five minutes to play.
It was Lake Stevens first state title after losses in the 2019 and 2021 state championship games.
Yelm capped a perfect 14-0 season with a 20-13 win over Eastside Catholic in the Washington 3A state championship game.
With under a minute to play, Yelm wide receiver Kyler Ronquillo ripped away a potential interception from an Eastside Catholic defender for the game-winning touchdown.

Lynden won it second straight 2A championship with a 31-24 win over North Kitsap. The Lions finish a perfect 13-0.

Royal three-peated in 1A with a 35-20 win over Mount Baker. It’s Royal’s sixth state title in the last eight years and 11th overall.

Napavine won its first football state championship with a 41-27 win over Okanogan in the 2B title game.
In the 1B championship game, Liberty Bell beat Neah Bay 50-12.
