We say this every year, the Deseret News does an excellent job of covering high school football in Utah.
Fall camps open on July 25 with the games during the first week of the regular season being played August 10-11. The ten-week regular season will come to an end October 13.
The 2023 playoffs will begin October 20. The state championship games will be played on different weekends.

- 8-Player – November 11 at site to be determined
- 1A, 2A, 3A – November 11 at sites to be determined
- 4A, 5A, 6A – November 17 at University of Utah
