While weather affected when the games were played, all Rhode Island Thanksgiving high school football rivalry games were played Tuesday through Thursday.

The oldest Turkey Day is a border war between Westerly and Stonington (Connecticut). Thursday, Westerly won its seventh straight in the series that dates back to 1911. The Bulldogs now own a 52-44-9 lead in their Thanksgiving games, but in the all-time series, Stonington leads 74-73-17.

The oldest rivalry between two in-state teams is the La Salle/East Providence matchup. They first started playing in 1929. Thursday, East Providence nipped their arch-rivals 27-26 with a last minute touchdown (below).

La Salle still leads the all-time series 55-37-2.
