Reigning Class 3A champ Smyrna opens ’23 ranked No. 1 in the Preseason High School Football America Delaware Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Eagles will get a big test this weekend when they face Pennsylvania-power Manheim Central in the inaugural Mid-Atlantic Pigskin Classic.
The event will be played a Salesianum’s Abessinio Stadium in Wilmington. The host team, No. 3 Salesianum will be playing Delaware Military Institute on Thursday.
