After 14 straight losses to Byrnes, Spartanburg (6-0) showed why it’s ranked #23 in the latest High School Football America Top 25, by beating the Rebels 17-7.  Because of the possibility of bad weather on Friday, the game was moved to Thursday night.

Spartanburg head coach Chris Miller, who led Byrnes to four state titles, also snapped a two-game losing streak against his old school.

Byrnes entered the game ranked #25 in the latest HSFA Top 25.
