#25 Euless Trinity (4-0) prepared for district play with a long trip to the Houston area, coming away with a 29-21 win over North Shore (1-3) Friday night.
The Trojans were led by quarterback Tyler Natee who passed for 170 yards and rushed for 101 and two touchdowns. North Shore, which is off to its worst start since 1997, kept it close throughout. The Mustangs closed to 22-21 in the 4th quarter, but the extra point was blocked. On the ensuing drive, Natee scored on a 43 yard tun to seal the win.
Euless Trinity opens 6A Region 1 District 7 play next week against Heritage. Down the road on October 17th is the showdown with nationally-ranked Southlake Carroll, ranked #16 in our latest Top 25.
