Seven-year National Football League veteran Malcom Brown is the new head football coach at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School in Austin, Texas. The former defensive tackle won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.

Brown is a Texas native, who played his high school football at Brenham. He was a 5-star college football prospect with the Cubs. In addition to football, he played basketball and was a member of the school’s track team.

The Patriots selected Brown in the first round of 2015 NFL Draft after being an All-American at the University of Texas. During his time with the Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars, he recorded 304 tackles with 27 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks.

St. Dominic Savio Catholic, a member of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, finished 8-2 last season while playing an independent schedule.
