Mission Viejo‘s Colin Schooler took his team on his back in the second half Friday night to lead the Diablos to a 42-14 non-league win over Long Beach Poly (1-2) at Mission Viejo High School.

Mission Viejo, which entered the game ranked #49 nationally and #4 in the High School Football America SoCal Top 25, jumped-out to a 14-0 first quarter lead, but the Jackrabbits, who are ranked #11 in the SoCal Top 25, battled back to tie the game at 14 at the break.  In the second half, Schooler, who scored five touchdowns on the night, gave Mission Viejo (4-0) the lead for good on a Pick-6.
