#5 Allen (Texas) improves to 8-0

Allen, the top team in Texas and #5 in the High School Football America National Top 25, rolled to its eighth straight win Thursday night, beating McKinney 59-7.  Junior running back Brock Sturges led a solid Allen ground game with 83 yards on six carries with touchdown runs of 53 and 2 yards.  The Eagles amassed 460 yards in total offense.

Allen is now 8-0 overall and 5-0 in District 6-6A.
