#6 Corona Centennial beats Serra in battle of top-ranked SoCal teams

Corona Centennial gave head coach Matt Logan his 199th career win Saturday night with a 52-13 win over Serra (Gardena) in The Honor Bowl in Oceanside, California. 

The Huskies (2-0), ranked #1 in both the SoCal Top 25 and California Top 25, were led by running back J.J. Taylor, who ran for 130 yards on 16 carries.  Serra (1-1) was playing without starting quarterback Khalil Tate, who was forced to sit-out the game after being ejected in the Cavaliers’ season-opening win against Lakewood.
