NIL comes to Florida high school athletes

Florida votes to allow student-athletes to sign NIL deals.

Florida is the 36th state to allow its high school student-athletes to sign name, image and likeness deals while maintaining the scholastic eligibility.

On Tuesday, the Florida High School Athletic Association adopted proposed NIL language that could take effect as soon as the upcoming school year. The Florida Department of Education still must approve the new NIL rules.
