Next Monday will kick-off high school football in Wyoming with Class 4A teams hitting the field for fall camp. Things will start with three days without pads, with the hitting starting on Thursday.
Class 3A, 2A and 1A teams will get going with non-contact on August 19. Like the bigger classification, these classes will wait three days to put on the pads.
2024 Key Dates in Wyoming
- First practice – August 12 without pads in 4A; August 15 with pads in 4A; August 19 without pads in 3A, 2A, 1A; August 22 with pads in 3A/2A/1A
- First games – August 29
- Regular season ends – October 25
- Playoffs begin – November 1
- Championships – November 15-16 at War Memorial Stadium, home of the University of Wyoming
