Both teams are ranked in the HSFA national rankings. Trinity is ranked No. 80 in America, while Center Grove is No. 90.
With a battle with Trinity on September 20, No. 2 Male squares-off with No. 5 St. Xavier this weekend.
Like Trinity, No. 3 Boyle County has a huge interstate matchup this week. The Rebels, who have won four straight Kentucky state titles, will be in Ohio to play three-time Division I state champ St. Edward. The Eagles are ranked No. 7 in America, while BC is ranked No. 230 in the HSFA 300.
In addition to the Male/St. X Top 10 battle, No. 9 Bowling Green squares-off with No. 10 Bryan Station, which has open with losses against Trinity and Boyle County.
