Brownsburg moves to No. 1 after Westfield shocked preseason No. 1 Center Grove 34-28. The win moves the Shamrocks to No. 2 in this week’s rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. Center Grove tumbles to No. 4.
Cathedral is up two spots to No. 3 after taking down defending 6A champ Ben Davis. The Giants tumble from preseason No. 3 to No. 8
Cathedral will try to improve that ranking when the Fighting Irish play new No. 1 Brownsburg.
Westfield takes on No. 9 Carmel.
