Brownsburg strengthened its hold last weekend on the No. 1 spot in the High School Football America Indiana Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Bulldogs beat Cathedral 30-14 in a game that started Friday and ended on Saturday due to weather.

The loss drops Cathedral from No. 3 to No. 4 this week. The Fighting Irish will try to get back into the win column when it plays Ohio’s St. Xavier, ranked No. 207 in our national rankings. Cathedral is currently ranked No. 106 in America.

Center Grove, which moves from No. 4 to No. 3, will get a big out-of-state test this weekend when it plays Kentucky 6A champ Trinity, ranked No. 80 in the HSFA 300 national rankings. Center Grove is ranked No. 90 nationally.

New to the Top 10 is Crown Point at No. 9 and Merrillville at No. 10.
