Defending Division I champ Burr & Burton falls out of the High School Football America Vermont Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Bulldogs, who started the year No. 1, lost their second straight last week, a 35-22 decision to Mount Anthony.
B&B will be able to get back into the statewide rankings this week when it plays Essex, which returns to the Top 5 after a 28-7 win over Burlington/Burlington South.
This week’s Game of the Week is between No. 2 Hartford and No. 4 Middlebury.
