For the second week in a row, there are no changes in the High School Football America Alaska Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Now, just because there aren’t any changes numerically, it doesn’t mean there hasn’t been any changes in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.
No. 2 Bettye Davis East closed the gap on No. 1 Soldotna thanks to a 50-48 win over No. 5 Bartlett. That win puts BDE in position to capture a piece of the Cook Inlet Conference championship this Saturday when the Thunderbirds play No. 3 Dimond.
