There are no changes in the latest High School Football America Kentucky Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
No. 2 Trinity solidified its spot with a 24-21 win over No. 3 Male. The Shamrocks defense shutout the Bulldogs in the second half after trailing 21-6 at the half.
The Rocks now move on to their annual showdown against No. 4 St. Xavier. Last year, Trinity beat St. X twice on the way to its 28th overall high school football championship.
This will be the 93rd meeting between the two, dating back to 1956. Trinity leads the all-time series 50-40-2.
The game is schedule for Friday night at Louisville’s L&N Stadium, but could be affected by Hurricane Helene.
