18-time Rhode Island high school football state champ Bishop Hendricken starts the season No. 1 in the High School Football America Rhode Island Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Hawks are followed by La Salle Academy at No. 2, North Kingstown at No. 3, St. Raphael Academy at No. 4 and Cranston West at No. 5

Hendricken and La Salle will open against New York opponents.

Hendricken plays Monsignor Farrell, ranked No. 268 in the HSFA 300 national rankings. La Salle takes-on Holy Trinity from Hicksville.
