It’s time for No. 1 vs. No. 2 in the High School Football America New York Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Top-ranked Cardinal Hayes hosts No. 2 Iona Prep Friday night at Columbia University.
Both teams are also nationally-ranked in the HSFA 300 national rankings. Hayes is ranked No. 87. IP is No. 150 in America.
As far as the latest rankings, Erasmus Hall falls from No. 6 to No. 8 after being upset by 10-7. However, despite the 10-7 loss, the Dutchmen’s strength of schedule keeps them in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.
