Basha is the new No. 1 in the High School Football America Arizona Top 10 high school football rankings. The Bears became the third team this year to sit atop the rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, after beating former No. 1 Hamilton 35-20 last Friday.
Hamilton, which falls to No. 2, will try to rebound this week against No. 9 Perry, which lost a four overtime heartbreaker to Casteel last week.
There’s a big showdown in 6A East Valley this week with No. 4 Red Mountain hosting No. 7 American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek).
