The Bulldogs move from No. 3 to No. 1 after beating former No. 1 Thornton Academy, the reigning Class A champ, 14-7. TA drops to No. 2 this week in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

No. 4 Noble solidified its spot with a 21-13 win over South Portland. It was the third straight loss for the Red Riots, who started 4-0.
