Dimond is the No. 1 team in the final 2024 High School Football America Alaska Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Lynx finish atop the rankings, created by our proprietary algorithm, after winning the Division I championship against No. 2 West.
It was Dimond’s first high school football championship since 2001.
Bettye Davis East finishes No. 3, followed by Bartlett at No. 4 and Division II state champ Soldotna at No. 5.
Soldotna beat Lathrop for the Division II championship, which marked the fifth time in a row that the two schools battled for the state title. The Stars have now won two straight championships and 14 overall.
