We head into the final week of the 2024 regular season with the same two teams at the top of the High School Football America Texas Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Two-time reigning 6A Division I champ Duncanville sits at No. 1, followed by North Shore at No. 2. These two have played for the title in the state’s biggest classification three years in a row. North Shore, which has played in six straight state title games, won the title in 2021. The Mustangs also won state titles in 2018 and 2019 by beating Duncanville.

North Shore closes out with a tougher game than Duncanville. The Mustangs play No. 7 Summer Creek for the outright District 23-6A title. Duncanville can claim the District 11-6A championship if the Panthers beat Cedar Hill (3-6).

No. 8 Westlake can claim the outright District 26-6A crown if its beats Dripping Springs. The Chaparrals are unbeaten in district play. DS is currently tied with No. 9 Lake Travis with one district loss.

While Dripping Springs isn’t in the Top 25, the Tigers are ranked No. 201 in the HSFA 300 national rankings. There are 41 teams from Texas in our national rankings.

Duncanville is the highest ranked team nationally. The Panthers are No. 4 this week, North Shore is No. 7 in America.
