As we head into the state semifinals, Champlain Valley Union remains the top team in the High School Football America Vermont Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. After a 63-6 win over Mount Anthony in the Division I quarterfinals, the Redhawks will face No. 3 Middlebury this week.
On October 5, CVU beat Middlebury 41-7.
In the other Division I state semi, No. 2 Ruland squares-off with Harford.
