The path to the 2024 Louisiana high school football state championships at the Caesars Superdome, home of the New Orleans Saints, is now known. The Louisiana High School Athletic Association released the playoff brackets on Sunday.

Select Division I is loaded with seven teams that are currently ranked in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Leading the way is No. 103 Edna Karr, the top-seed in the bracket. The division also includes No. 64 Acadiana, No. 75 Catholic (Baton Rouge), No. 95 Alexandria, No. 122 Archbishop Rummel, No. 222 St. Thomas More and No. 241 Teurlings Catholic.

Making the division even more interesting is the fact that it includes Catholic (Baton Rouge), the reigning champ and two-time Division II champ St. Thomas More.

Non-Select Division I includes four nationally-ranked teams — No. 96 Neville, the top seed, No. 98 Ruston (defending champ), No. 185 Central (Baton Rouge) and No. 198 Zachary.
