In just three years of existence, Horace is now a North Dakota high school football champ. The Hawks beat Red River 14-8 for the North Dakota Class AA high school football championship.

In its first year of varsity football in 2022, Horace was 1-7. The Hawks improved to 6-5 last year.

The win gives Horace a 10-2 record in 2024.
