It’s semifinal time in the powerful CIF Southern Section in Southern California. The top two divisions feature head-to-head matchups inside the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
In Division 1, defending national champ Mater Dei squares-off with No. 19 Corona Centennial. The No. 1 Monarchs beat the Huskies 42-25 in the season opener for both clubs.
In the other semi, No. 5 St. John Bosco plays No. 13 Orange Lutheran. During the Trinity League regular season, Bosco came from behind to beat the Lancers 28-24.
In Division 2, No. 143 Murrieta Valley plays No. 170 Oaks Christian and No. 214 Yorba Linda faces No. 263 Newbury Park.
