Bishop Manogue is now a back-to-back high school football champ in Nevada. The Miners, ranked No. 3 in the High School Football America Nevada Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 4 Faith Lutheran 35-14 for the 5A Division II title. It’s the second year in a row that the Miners beat the Crusaders for the state crown.
With the game tied at 14-all in the fourth quarter BM scored three times in a span of :21 seconds.
After junior QB Brandon Mann scored on a 7-yard run, the defense scored twice. Joey Thomas III had a scoop-and-score and Jackson Ramsey had a 15-yard Pick-6.
