Beaver won its 15th overall Utah high school football championship Saturday with a 43-22 win over Kanab for the state’s 1A state title at Southern Utah University.
It was the 99th meeting between the two schools. Beaver, who is now a back-to-back 1A champ, has now won 17 of the last 18 of those meetings.
