Bishop Gorman continues its Nevada high school football dominance. Tuesday night, the Gaels, ranked No. 2 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, trounced No. 109 Arbor View 69-7 to win the school’s 14th state championship in the last 15 years in the state’s largest classification.
Gorman quarterback Maika Eugenio tossed five touchdown passes in the first half of the 5A Division I state championship game at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Gorman finishes with an 11-1 record. Their only loss was to top-ranked Mater Dei (California) in early September.
Arbor View, playing in its first-ever state championship game finishes 10-2. The Aggies only losses came against Gorman. During the regular season, the Gaels won 49-14 on October 10.
