While the number of Pennsylvania Thanksgiving Day high school football games has reduced over the last 30 years, there are still several being played.
Northeast retained the Wooden Horse Trophy Thursday morning after beating Philadelphia Central 37-21. It was the seventh straight win for the Vikings in the series that dates back to 1892.

Northampton won its tenth straight over Catasauqua with a 58-14 win in the 101st game between the neighboring communities. The Konkrete Kids now lead the all-time series 64-33-4.

Quakertown won its fourth straight against arch-rival Pennridge Thursday morning. The Panthers won the 95th meeting 28-14 to cut into Pennridge’s lead in the all-time series. The Rams lead the series with 58 wins to 32 for Q-town. There have been five ties.
Haverford shutout Upper Darby 40-0 in the 102nd meeting between the two.
Ridley pitched a 49-0 shutout against Interboro in their 56th meeting. Ridley has won four straight to take a 43-13 lead in the series.
Finally, the 95th meeting between Bristol and Morrisville wasn’t played because Morrisville only had 14 players available. The forfeit comes about a month after their Bicentennial Athletic League regular season matchup. Bristol won that won 25-14 to win the league championship.
Bristol has now won 25 straight to lead the series 60-33-2.
