Congratulations to every student-athlete signing during this year’s Early Signing Period. Over the next three days, High School Football America will keep you up-to-date on those that sign their National Letter of Intent.
The No. 1 overall college football prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Bryce Underwood of Belleville (Michigan) officially signed with Michigan. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound quarterback had originally given LSU his verbal, but Wednesday he made it official that he will be staying in-state.
Duncanville (Texas) QB Keelon Russell is officially heading to Alabama for his college football. But, the No. 2 overall prospect still has some football in Texas to take care of. The Panthers signal caller is three win away from leading the school to a three-peat in the Lone Star State’s biggest classification.
Going into this week’s Class 6A Division I state quarterfinal game against Bridgeland, the Duncanville is ranked No. 4 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
The highest ranked prospect not to sign today is offensive tackle David Sanders, Jr. of Providence Day in North Carolina. Right now, most of the rating services have him going to the University of Tennessee.
