DePaul Catholic wins New Jersey Non-Public B high school football championship

For the second time in three years, DePaul Catholic is a New Jersey high school football champ. The Spartans beat Pope John XXIII 33-21 for the Non-Public B title Friday after MetLife Stadium, home of the N ational Football League‘s N ew York Giants and Je ts.

Junior quarterback Derek Zammit ran for two touchdowns and threw for a touchdown. Senior running back Nolan James also ran for two TDs.
