Toms River North is the only Group 5 New Jersey high school football champs since the state instituted its statewide championship in 2022. Friday, at MetLife Stadium, home of the NFL‘s New York Giants and Jets, beat Union City 41-14 for the school’s third straight state championship.

TRN finishes 14-0. In the last three years, Mariners have gone 42-2.
