Ironton wins the Ohio Division V high school football championship for 2024.

Ironton beat Liberty Center 28-17 Saturday at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton to capture the Ohio Division V high school football championship. It’s the first state title for the Fighting Tigers since 1989. They also won a championship in 1979.

Ironton entered the game ranked No. 25 in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.
