Description: Lead in all phases of coaching an interscholastic football team at the High School level.
Duties:
● Develop, implement and model team policies and rules that align with HCS.
● Lead the entire program through the coordination of practices and game plans (Varsity/JV/FR).
● Assemble and help develop a talented coaching staff with a shared vision.
● Possess strong professional/personal morals and ethics and be a positive role model for the student-athletes.
● Coordinate off-season and summer workouts.
● Oversee program fundraising efforts and community involvement including a connection to our youth football program.
● Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with athletes, staff, parents and the community while projecting a positive image that enhances the school.
Qualifications:
● Recent experience coaching football at the high school or collegiate level.
● Knowledge of MHSAA rules and regulations.
● Evidence of student success in teaching football skills and strategy.
