Two of the best teams Florida and America will battle for the 2024 Florida Class 4A high school football championship Friday night at FIU’s South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium.

American Heritage (Plantation), No. 5 in the High School Football America Florida Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football, plays No. 7 Jones (Orlando). In our national rankings, AH is No. 24 and Jones is No. 27.

Jones is looking for its first-ever state championship, while American Heritage is going after its sixth.
