In a battle of unbeatens North Oconee, ranked no. 300 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, edged No. 185 Marist for the Georgia 4A state championship. It’s the first state football title for the Titans.

Quarterback Harrison Faulkner’s 2-yard keeper with just under four minutes remaining proved to be the game-winner. The TD run capped a 12-play, 78-yard drive that chewed-up about six minutes.
