Wednesday, Hebron Christian gained revenge against Prince Avenue Christian to win the Georgia 3A-1A Private state championship. The Lions, who lost to PAC 34-31 during the regular season, beat the Wolverines 56-28 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons.

Quarterback Tom Stallworth ran for four touchdowns and running back Devon Caldwell ran for three to lead Hebron Christian to its first-ever high school football state championship.

Stallworth ran the ball 18 times for 84 yards with scoring runs of 7, 3, 1 and 2 yards. He also completed 9 of 15 passes for 172 yards.ย 

Hebron Christian head coach Jonathan Gess has now won seven state championships, which includes six with Eagleโ€™s Landing Christian.
