While some may say that top-ranked Corona Centennial‘s win over Gardena Serra, ranked #6 in last week’s California High School Football America Top 25, Saturday night was made a little less impressive because the Cavaliers didn’t have Arizona-bound quarterback Khalil Tate, our algorithm shows that the Huskies have a firm grasp on the #1 ranking.
That ranking will be tested again Friday night when the Huskies travel to Orange Lutheran, which jumped to #10 in the latest statewide rankings after an impressive win over former #14 Crespi.
There are three new teams in this week’s rankings — JSerra at #19, Mission Hills at #24 and Clayton Valley at #25
