Southern California high school football fans are hoping that Corona Centennial and St. John Bosco are on a collision course for a showdown in the CIF-Southern Section Pac-5 championship game later this year.
Since we released our preseason state and Southern California Top 25’s in August, Centennial has been the top dog in the state and region, according to our proprietary algorithm that we use to create our rankings. However, St. John Bosco was a close second, and over the last four weeks, the gap between the two closed and on Sunday, the Braves moved into the top spot in the latest High School Football America/California 25 presented by Southern Sports’ TDI Razur.
